One of the most popular new wave band's from the 1970's may get back together. The Cars broke up 23 years ago but now their Facebook page is hinting at a reunion with all surviving members including front man Ric Ocasek!

Mark David Chapman, the man responsible for killing one of the most influential and famous figures of all time will face another parole board next month. Chapman killed John Lennon back in 1980. Lennon's widow Yoko Ono has submitted her 6th letter to the U.S. Court Officials in a bid to deny his release. Yoko says she would not feel safe if he was let go.

The Black Sabbath feud is over!!! Ozzy Osbourne and his former band mate Toni Lommi have called a truce over the name "Black Sabbath". I'm sure these guys saw the light when their pal Ronnie James Dio passed on in May. Will there be a Sabbath reunion once again?? It was a blast from the past for Guitar Legend Carlos Santana at a recent gig. Santana played The Bethel Woods Center for the Arts... the old stompin' grounds of the original Woodstock festival 41 years ago. He told a crowd of 15 thousand people"This is ground zero of peace and love".

U2 have rescheduled their 360 degree North American Tour now that Bono is feeling better after his back surgery. All tickets sold for their original dates will be valid at the rescheduled shows. The Edmonton show at Commonwealth Stadium is now set for June 1st, 2011 and the Seattle show at Qwest Field will be June 4th, 2011.

The Who hope to tour again next year despite continued uncertainty about the status of Pete Townshend's hearing. The may do a new live show or a live version of their 1973 album "Quadrophenia". Pete suffers from partial deafness and tinnitus. I'm sure this didn't help... back in '76 The Who did a gig out in London England at Valley Stadium where they made The Guinness Book of World Records as "The Worlds Loudest Concert". The volume was measured at 126 decibels!

Guitar great Carlos Santana busted out more than a killer riff at a show in Chicago... he proposed to his girlfriend drummer Cindy Blackman while on stage. She said Yes! Cindy is best known for her time touring with Lenny Kravitz.

Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page is being sued by folk singer Jake Homes for plagiarism over the song "Dazed and Confused". Nothing like delaying the process... this lawsuit comes 40 years after the song was released on Led Zepplin's debut album. Even if Homes is successful, he can only claim royalties and damages for the past 3 years due to the statue of limitations.
